Regina JDRF Charity Golf Tournament - 10th Anniversary

Our team of dedicated volunteers is organizing the 12th annual Regina Charity Golf Tournament in continued support of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. We are requesting your business to consider supporting our charity golf tournament scheduled for Thursday, June 13, 2019.

Quick Fact on Type 1 Diabetes:

  • Canada has the third highest occurrence rate of Type 1 diabetes in children 14 years or younger in the world and Type 1 Diabetes occurrence rate is rising by 3 – 5% per year, with the greatest rise occurring in 5 – 9-year-olds.
  • Insulin is a means to control diabetes, but it is NOT a cure.

In addition, we are seeking donations of cash and items suitable for a silent auction. Recognition will be provided for all donations.

There are over 65,000 Saskatchewan residents directly impacted by diabetes. Likely a co-worker, friend or family member is living with diabetes. This disease is estimated to cost the Canadian health care system and economy, through lost productivity, some $9.2 billion annually. Your financial contribution will go directly to finding a cure for Type 1 Diabetes.
